Douglas M. Dougherty, CFA

Doug is a vice president of CornerCap Investment Counsel. He is the senior equity analyst of our mid/large-cap discipline and a member of the investment committee. He comanages the CornerCap Balanced Fund. Before joining CornerCap in 2002, Doug worked for a financial services firm in wealth management and, prior to that, a private equity investment firm as an equity analyst. He has corporate finance experience from a major Atlanta corporation. Doug has an MBA in Finance from Emory University, where he was a Robert W. Woodruff Fellow, and a BS from Miami University. Doug has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Atlanta Society Financial Analysts (ASFA). He is active in volunteer work and is currently an officer of a local nonprofit organization. His other outside interests include running, traveling, and golf.
