In June, CornerCap was listed among the Financial Times Top 300, which reflects the internationally acclaimed newspaper’s independent assessment of registered investment advisers in the United States.
The FT evaluated advisers on six broad factors, including: size of assets managed, recent growth in assets, the company’s longevity, compliance record, online accessibility and resources, and industry certifications.
Importantly, the advisers provide no subjective input; neither they nor their employees make any payment for the recognition. Over 2000 advisers were reportedly invited to be considered.
According to the newspaper, the average FT 300 firm on the list has 24 years in the business and manages $2.7 billion in assets.
We are pleased by this recognition from a trusted, independent, and well-respected news source, particularly during an often challenging period of performance for advisers.
