Bradley L. Robinson, CFA
Brad is a Portfolio Manager and a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining CornerCap in 2017, Brad spent 4 years as an associate portfolio manager at Sheffield Investment Management in Atlanta. Prior to Sheffield, Brad served 20 years in the U.S. Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals. Brad has a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a dual MBA/MS in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Brad grew up in South Dakota before attending college in Montana, Nebraska and Iowa. Upon graduation, Brad was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Army Medical Service Corp. He served in a variety of leadership roles during his military career including platoon leader, company commander and medical operations officer for the 1st Cavalry Division (Texas), 2nd Infantry Division (South Korea), and the 25th Infantry Division (Hawaii). Later, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Evans Army Community Hospital (Colorado), Bavaria U.S. MEDDAC (Germany), and Womack Army Medical Center (North Carolina). In his last duty assignment, Brad served as the Director for Business Operations at Womack Army Medical Center, the largest medical center in the Army inventory with 229 hospital beds and more than 120,000 enrolled beneficiaries at Fort Bragg, NC. He supervised 7 administrative divisions and 100 personnel in support of 4,000+ military, civilian and contract employees and was responsible for an annual operating budget of $400+ million.
Brad and his wife, Lee, reside in Marietta, GA and have 3 sons: Derek, Jacob and Joey. In his spare time, Brad volunteers as an assistant wrestling coach and enjoys watching his boys play high school lacrosse. His family enjoys traveling and sporting activities and are active parishioners of the Catholic Church of St. Ann.
